It's no secreat I have always had an interest in photography. Those of you that know me well have probably heard me say I was having an "I want to be a photographer moment". Yesterday I took a great step in making those moments a bit more real....
I bought a new camera! I am the proud new owner of a Canon Rebel XT.
Now comes the learning curve.... to start things off I have enlisted the help of my friend Eric to teach me all the ins and outs of ISO, F Stop settings, Shutter Speed and all the other crazy things you need to know to take a good photo. Wow do I have a lot to learn!!!

Tonight was the first lesson with the new toy... We went downtown and shot the Capitol Building. Here are a few of the best shots from the night. I hope you enjoy!!

Oh, so that's the hint to good pictures. So my little tiny cool pix I keep in my purse isn't going to give me quality photo's? Huh, go figure.
i need to learn how to take a decent picture. maybe you should start a family class!!!
Pretty sweet new toy! first thing on your wishlist down, a few more to go. You will have to come see our new house, and coming to take pictures can be the excuse you appearantly need. At least you have a good teacher, now you just need to learn the ins and outs of photoshop.
