A day with my Niece and Nephews

Friday I got the chance to hang out with my new Niece Nora and my Nephews Cohen and Porter for a bit. Although I didn't have much time to play around with my camera, I did take a couple pictures. Aren't they adorable?
Porter - Hiding from the camera

Cohen (I know this one is a bit blurry, but it was way too cute not to post)

Nora - The beginnings of a very big stretch

Fire in the Sky

As I was driving home from work Thursday night I watched as this amazing sunset developed. I just had to pull off the freeway and try to capture the beauty.

In the Studio pt 3 - Work in progress

This piece was on the easel in JC's Studio. This is just a small portion on the piece. It literally took my breath away.

In the Studio

This week I am featuring pictures I took in the art studio belonging to JC Pino.

I am lucky enough to know JC well and see his works on display often. I also consider myself very fortunate to have two of his pieces hanging in my home (this is the link to one of the pieces I own). A few days ago I was at JC's home and he was kind enough to allow me some time to take a couple pictures while in his studio. Knowing JC and talking to him about his art, talent and his process have helped me become a better artist (I use the term loosely).

All the images you will see this week were taken in his studio. Any depictions of his work remain his and I am honored to share them with you.

JC Pino's work amazes me regularly and takes me breath away. I highly suggest taking a moment to check out his site.
