My mom told me an interesting fact about tulips the other day...
Did you know all tulip bulbs start out yellow and they are cross bred to make other colors out of them. If you leave a bulb in the ground for long enough no matter the color of it when you plant it, it will eventually go back to yellow.

Did you know that they will continue to grow one to two inches after they're cut? Very nice. Having fun?
This is so pretty. My Mother's favorite flower was a tulip. My Mother passed away - how I wish she was here to share things like this with me.
